ACR Attends 21st Annual Mid-State Kart Club Show
Posted January 13, 2011
Andrew Chase Racing, LLC (Also known as ACR) recently attended the annual Mid-State Kart Club Show in Springfield, IL. The show was Sunday, January
9th at the Eagles Club from 10am-2pm. ACR was there to promote its presence to the karting market and show off the new line of PCR Racing Kart
chassis!
ACR attended the show with several customers to lend a hand along with the New PCR US Importer, Doru Stoia. Together we spoke with
both new and existing customers about the High Quality and Precision of the PCR Karts.
PCR has been around since the early 80’s but then
went away in the mid 2000’s. Now the Newly appointed PCR Distribution, ran by Doru Stoia is trying to give PCR a big push in the USA
again.
ACR got involved with PCR back around 2001. That’s when I began to work with and sell PCR chassis for another kart shop. In 2002,
I became lead mechanic and part-time tuner for Alan Rudolph in the Skusa Pro-Moto days. That year, Alan won the Skusa Eastern Championship. After
that, I purchased my own PCR shifter and began running the CES & WKA road race events across the country. Karting didn’t just start in 2001 for
me. I had been racing karts since the age of 7. Now 21 years later, I find myself wanting to give back to the sport and help others.
In the
spring of 2010 I started ACR. ACR works with customers from beginner to National driver, whether it’s Sprint or Road Racing. The main focus is
to give our customers a Great experience and the support they need to compete. After all, most of our customers are racing to have fun! While some
will move up into bigger and better things, karting remains my #1 priority.
